Grain-Free Flatbread Recipe
This flatbread recipe uses coconut flour, which has a whole host of nutritional benefits. Science Direct performed a study that showed coconut flour to be an excellent source of fiber, allowing you to enjoy the digestive benefits of a grain-free diet.
Not only is this bread delicious, you only need five ingredients. In fact, besides the coconut flour, you likely already have these ingredients in your pantry:
- 3 tablespoons coconut flour
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
This recipe makes enough for two burgers or sandwiches for a total of four pieces of flatbread. You can adjust as needed to make enough for the whole family.
Stir the dry ingredients (coconut flour, sea salt, and baking powder) together until evenly mixed. Slowly stir in the eggs and the coconut oil. Make sure the ingredients are well-combined and let them sit for five minutes. During this time, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
On a baking pan, divide the batter into four even scoops. Spread the batter out until it’s the right size for your sandwich, burger, or pizza. Bake for 10 minutes, let cool, and enjoy. How to Use This Bread
